The names of these foods are: alangkwe, bush banana; atyurrke, bush fig; ingkwerrpme, bush berries; arrkirlpange-kwerle, bush coconut; tyape, witchety grub; arrutnenge, passionfruit; atwakeye, bush orange and yerampe, wild honey ants.These foods come from the bush and we have eaten them for generations, they are always there, in our country for us to collect when we want to. We look for bush tucker and share it out for everyone in camp to have a good meal together.
