This painting is about grandmothers who taught granddaughters how to dance. Before, girls used to just go out hunting – they didn’t know about dancing – until an old women decided to teach them how to dance. She showed them how to move their body; it felt like the wind moving their body around as they started to get to know how to dance. Then they could dance in front of everyone and feel unashamed.
This is one of 40 prints in blue black or dark brown inks lino cuts. They are permounted and ready for framing.
